The Fashion Atlas is an interdisciplinary knowledge network visualization map, with a corresponding physical library. Fashion Atlas' mission is to serve as a gateway to the guarded connections between the central thinkers that make up the fabric of art criticism, sharing access to the way that art criticism is being formed and studied by Western Academia. In illuminating these connections Waves and Archives’ Fashion Atlas hopes to inspire future theoretical knowledge to focus on fashion as its subject, and the existing theoretical knowledge to be applied to fashion criticism, paving thus a way for fashion as one of art's mediums in academic and institutional settings.
